Celtic flag flies above City Chambers in George Square as investigation begins
An investigation was opened after a Celtic flag was hoisted over Glasgow City Chambers.
A prankster managed to fly a Celtic flag nine in a row above the council seat on Friday.
The Celtic fan climbed the iconic building in George Square to replace the usual saltire with the team’s green and white flag.
After approximately 15 seconds, the flag was removed and the jumper was replaced.
Glasgow City Council called the incident “inappropriate”.
