DUBAI, 7th July, 2022 (WAM) — The International Chamber of Commerce – United Arab Emirates (ICC UAE) recently hosted a leadership roundtable to foster a business-friendly discussion with 10 country-focused business councils at the headquarters of Dubai Chambers.
The event aims to raise awareness of the activities and benefits available by working in cooperation with the UAE Section of the ICC.
Nadia Abdul Aziz, Board Member and Chair of the Steering Committee of the ICC’s UAE Customs and Trade Facilitation Commission, chaired the meeting.
In her speech, Nadia Abdul Aziz encouraged representatives of works councils to benefit from the ICC’s global network covering more than 100 countries and 45 million members, while highlighting the practical benefits of working with the ICC.
Further focused presentations were made to the assembled group by Dr. Hassan Arab, Chairman of the ICC UAE Arbitration Commission, and Ahmad Lootah, Chairman of the ICC UAE Banking Commission.
Samir Shahid and Vinitha Bhatia, Vice Chairpersons of ICC UAE Customs and Trade Commission, explained how ICC UAE can provide hands-on training and guidance to members, which will enable them to expand their international operations through efficiencies in logistics and international supply chain. operations.
