HDFC Bank deposits register annual growth of 19.3% to Rs 16.05 lakh crore on June 22

Private lender HDFC Bank’s deposits reached nearly Rs 16,05,000 crore as of June 30, 2022, a growth of about 19.3% from Rs 13,45,800 crore as of June 30, 2021 and a growth of around 2.9% from Rs 15.59,200 crores as of March 31, 2022.

According to an exchange filing dated July 4.

The bank recorded growth of 21.5% compared to June 30, 2021 and around 5% compared to March 31, 2022 in retail loans. Commercial and rural bank lending increased by approximately 29% as of June 30, 2021 and approximately 3% as of March 31, 2022.

Corporate loans and other wholesale loans increased by around 15.5% from June 13, 2021 and remained similar on March 31, 2022. HDFC purchased loans worth around Rs 9,533 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2022 through a direct allocation channel under the mortgage. agreement with HDFC Limited.

Advances from the private lender reached Rs 13.95,000 crore as of June 30, 2022, a growth of 21.5% from Rs 11.47,700 crore in the same period last year. This is an increase of 1.9% from Rs 13,68,800 crore as of March 31, 2022. Advances from the bank increased by approximately 22.5% from June 30, 2021 and approximately 2.8% compared to March 31, 2022.

HDFC Bank Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) deposits reached Rs 7,34,500 crore as of June 30, 2022, a growth of about 20.1% from Rs 6,11,800 crore as of June 30, 2022. June 30, 2021 and down 2.2% on Rs 7.51,000 crore as of March 31, 2022. The private lender’s CASA ratio stood at around 46% (June 2022), 45.5% (June 2021) and 48.2% (March 2022).
