Lee Chambers speaks at the 2022 PPMA Wellness Strategy Conference
The psychologist and entrepreneur hosted a session on wellness strategy at the event at Manchester Midland this week
Last week, the Public Services People Managers Association’s annual conference took place at Manchester’s prestigious Midland Hotel over three information-packed days. For more than 40 years, they have been the collective voice of a highly skilled, passionate, engaged and diverse public service human resources and organizational development community. They play a critical role in influencing key decision makers and stakeholders involved in people management and workforce issues.
The PPMA continuously strives to improve, promote and raise the standards of people management and organizational development within the public service. We provide a voice to represent the views and interests of the HR and DO community. We ensure that through membership in the Association, our community aspires, prospers and thrives.
At this year’s conference, which ran alongside their awards presentations and gala dinner, they hosted a range of expert speakers on a variety of topics. These included Damian Hughes, Peter Cheese, Lee Chambers and Ian Thomas. Subjects included inclusive HRwell-being at work, high-performance cultures and the future of HR.
Lee Chambers, Founder of Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing and Lets Improve Workplace Wellbeing Ambassador, said: “It was a pleasure to be part of the exceptional PPMA event and I had the opportunity to share some ideas with an audience. engaging and supportive. Although I couldn’t attend the whole event, the team made it a smooth experience and given that wellness strategy isn’t the most exciting topic, it was definitely a positive experience all around.”
For those looking for more information about the Association and the content of the event, these can be found on the PPMA website.
